Novel Nerd Is One Years Old

Today Novel Nerd is one! It's crazy that it's already been a year of blogging. It doesn't really seem it's been that long but it has been. Which again I say is crazy. When I first started blogging I never excepted to get 122 followers or to get a blog design or actually get review requests. I just figured my blog would be a way to express my feelings on books that no one would actually read. Because to be totally honest it's kind of scary to know people are reading your thoughts. What if they find what you have to say boring? What if they hate your review with a fiery passion? Basically after you realize people are actually reading your blog you go all Sheldon Copper afraid of large crowds:

After awhile you get over that....yeah, no. I haven't at least. I still get nervous anytime a new post is going up and whether you guys find it interesting or not. I want my blog to be interesting and something that my followers like. I can't thank everyone who has followed this blog enough. Those who have stuck with this blog since day one. You guys rock! Seriously you guys are awesome.

One thing I never expected when I started blogging was how nice everyone is. Like seriously there are so many helpful and kind bloggers. Everyone helps each other out and I love that about blogging. It's a community of people who love books and love talking endlessly about everything and anything that is books. I couldn't write up this post and not mention a few bloggers who are so nice and awesome! Jessirae @ Words, Pages, And Books, Ren @ Rens Rambles, Amy @ Book Loving Mom, Lauren @ Slaying Books, and VeganYANerds. These ladies are all wonderful! Seriously if you haven't checked out their blogs yet what are you waiting for? They all have amazing blogs. Blogging wouldn't be nearly as awesome without all the bloggers you get to know.

I could gush and gush and gush but I will spare you all. Just know that I really truly appreciate every comment and follow. And with that being said giveaway time!

Haha yeah that totally isn't relevant to this giveaway since you know I'm not giving away Batman or anything but I thought it was funny. Also I'm a tad bit in love with this show. It's just so good. But anyways the giveaway is simple. There will be two winners. One will win one of these books. Most of them aside from two I think are pre-orders so the book will be coming from Amazon.

And the second winner will win some various swag:

Just fill out the rafflecopter below to enter. Unfortunately the giveaway is only open to US/CA residents. Sorry international peeps! The giveaway starts today and ends on Halloween! Good luck to everyone who enters. This giveaway is a way to say thanks for following/commenting. :)
